The Covid booster programme has started and will be offered to those over 50 no earlier than 6 months after the 2nd dose.  If you are eligible the NHS will be in touch when it is your turn.

Over 50s are eligible for a Covid booster no sooner than 6 months after their 2nd vaccination. The NHS will be in touch when it is your turn and there is no need to contact your GP.

If you are eligible for the booster vaccination and are invited you can choose to book on the national booking line or can wait to be invited by your GP. You will be offered the Pfizer vaccination unless you had a reaction to Pfizer when you received it before.

Booster vaccinations are now being administered to those over 50. This must take place at least 6 months after the 2nd dose and will be Pfizer unless a patient suffered a previous allergic reaction. The NHS will invite you when it is your turn if you are eligible.
